Mateusz Gamrot shared detailed observations about life in Poland compared to the United States during a podcast appearance. The UFC lightweight contender argued that Poland is cleaner, safer, more hospitable, and in many ways more modern than America. Gamrot cited examples such as Poland having portable payment terminals a decade before they became common in U.S. restaurants. He also criticized Americans for being less hospitable and having more superficial social interactions compared to Polish culture. Gamrot acknowledged that the U.S. offers advantages for sports careers but maintained that quality of life is not necessarily better there. He noted that even his children prefer being home in Poland despite visiting Florida beaches.
