Mateusz Gamrot stated that Poland is cleaner, safer, more hospitable, and in many ways more modern than the United States. The lightweight fighter shared his observations from traveling, noting that Poland is advanced in payment technology and other everyday conveniences compared to America. Gamrot criticized Americans as not genuinely hospitable, describing interactions as superficial. He recounted being invited to barbecues where he would have gone hungry without bringing his own food. Despite acknowledging advantages for sports careers in the US, Gamrot emphasized that quality of life is not necessarily better there, and his family prefers being home in Poland where everything is more familiar and accessible.
