Mateusz Gamrot stated that Poland is cleaner, safer, more hospitable, and in many ways more modern than the United States, despite Poland's political and legal problems. He shared examples of how Poland is ahead technologically in everyday conveniences, noting that portable payment terminals arrived in Polish restaurants about 10 years before American establishments got them. Gamrot criticized Americans for being superficial in their interactions, describing typical conversations as shallow "Hi, how are you? Fine, bye bye" exchanges. He recounted bringing his family to Florida where his children, despite being on a beautiful beach with palm trees, said they wanted to go back to their grandmother in Poland. While acknowledging the United States offers advantages for sports careers, Gamrot emphasized that life quality isn't necessarily better there, and that everything is easier to resolve at home where you know the shortcuts.
