Tapology introduces opponent quality rating system for UFC fighters

Tapology has rolled out a new feature displaying an "opposition level" metric in UFC fighter profiles, rated on a scale from 1 to 99. The rating is calculated using a specific formula based on a fighter's last six UFC bouts, with fights in other organizations not factored into the score. For UFC 328, Sean Strickland leads with a rating of 74, followed by Khamzat Chimaev at 69 and Alexander Volkov at 67. At the bottom of the UFC 328 card, Baysangur Susurkaev and Ozzy Diaz both have ratings of 4. This system provides a quantifiable measure of the caliber of competition each fighter has faced in their recent UFC career.
