Tapology adds opponent quality ratings to UFC fighter profiles

The MMA database Tapology has introduced a new feature that rates the level of opposition each UFC fighter has faced. The rating system uses a scale from 1 to 99 and is calculated based on a specific formula available on the website. Only a fighter's last six UFC bouts are considered in the calculation, while fights in other organizations are excluded. For UFC 328, Sean Strickland has the highest opposition rating at 74, followed by Khamzat Chimaev at 69 and Alexander Volkov at 67. The lowest ratings on the card belong to Baysangur Susurkaev and Ozzy Diaz, both at 4, providing a quantitative measure of fighter experience against top competition.
