All seven of Amirzhanov's victories have been finishes, with six coming by submission including two guillotines, a rear naked choke, and various other creative techniques. The bantamweight competitor comes from a striking background as a Thai boxer and is the son of Thai boxing and kickboxing coach Anvarbek Amirzhanov.
