The 23-year-old Dagestani fighter secured the takedown from standing and finished the submission on the ground. Amirzhanov now holds a 7-0 professional MMA record with all victories coming by finish, including six by submission. He competes in the bantamweight division and trains at Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov's school. Amirzhanov is the son of Thai boxing and kickboxing coach Anvarbek Amirzhanov.
