The 23-year-old Dagestani fighter defeated Bruno Rocha (6-1) with an inverted arm triangle, securing the submission from a standing grip before taking his opponent to the ground. All seven of Amirzanov's professional wins have been finishes, with six coming by submission including two guillotines, an arm-in choke, a ninja choke, and a rear-naked choke. Training at Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov's school, Amirzanov competes at bantamweight and comes from a striking background as the son of Thai boxing and kickboxing coach Anvarbek Amirzanov.
