Kyrgyzstan MMA rising with six top-level fighters gaining elite status

Kyrgyzstan's MMA scene is experiencing significant growth beyond Valentina Shevchenko and Rafael Fiziev. Six fighters have emerged as elite-level champions and prospects across major promotions. Radjabali Shaidullaev (25, 19-0) holds the Rizin featherweight title, while Zhaksylyk Myrzabekov (27, 15-2) is interim ACA welterweight champion. Edil Esengulov (27, 14-4) recently submitted Ibrahim Magomedov at ACA in Tashkent. Akbar Abdullaev (28, 13-0) has finished all five ONE Championship opponents since 2023. Kubanychbek Abdisalam (31, 23-3) left Brave CF as undefeated lightweight champion. Myktybek Orolbay (28, 10-2) is pushing for UFC welterweight top-15 status with well-rounded skills including wrestling control, kimura finishes, and knockout power.
