Dana White revealed concerns about a serious insect problem at the White House venue where UFC plans to hold an outdoor event. After attending a dinner in the Rose Garden, White was struck by the overwhelming number of gnats and bugs swarming the area. He immediately contacted his production team to discuss the issue. White expressed particular worry about what will happen when all the floodlights are turned on during the event, anticipating that the bright lights will attract massive swarms of insects including gnats, moths, and other flying bugs. He explained that fighters will have to deal with insects flying into their mouths and eyes during competition, which is one of the main reasons he generally dislikes holding outdoor events.
