18-year-old Demid Volkov wins Russian MMA title at middleweight/light heavyweight

Demid Volkov, an 18-year-old from Vyritsa near Saint Petersburg, claimed the Russian junior MMA championship in the 93 kg division. In March, Volkov became Russia's combat sambo champion in the 88 kg category, making him one of the youngest champions in the discipline. He trains under Alexander Korshunov and regularly spars with Denis Goltsov, Makhnatkin, and Khadis Ibragimov.
