The UFC has released seven fighters from its roster. Lando Vannata (4-8-2 UFC) spent 10 years with the promotion and went winless in three fights over the past four years. Jamie Mullarkey (6-7 UFC) competed for seven years but never won more than two consecutive bouts. Daniel Marcos (5-1 UFC) was released after his contract expired in November, with the UFC declining to offer a new deal. Vince Morales (3-9 UFC) lost four straight after returning to the promotion. The roster cuts also include Austin Lane (1-5 UFC), Max Griffin (8-11 UFC), and Jesus Aguilar (4-3 UFC).
