Gabriel Bonfim scored a unanimous decision upset over Belal Muhammad in the UFC Vegas 118 main event, sweeping all three scorecards 50-45. Brendan Allen defeated Edmen Shahbazyan by unanimous decision in the co-main event. Elsewhere on the card, Bryce Mitchell submitted Santiago Luna with an arm-triangle choke in round three, Ivo Baranjevski stopped Junior Tafa by TKO in 85 seconds, and Ketlen Souza knocked out Ariane Carnelossi in the first round.
