Edgar Chairez and Ivo Baranjevski each earned $100,000 Performance of the Night bonuses at UFC Vegas 118. The Fight of the Night award went to Brendan Allen and Edmen Shahbazyan for their co-main event clash. Four fighters walked away with bonus money at UFC Vegas 118 on June 7, headlined by Performance of the Night awards for Edgar Chairez and Ivo Baranjevski, while the co-main event between Brendan Allen and Edmen Shahbazyan earned Fight of the Night honors. Every fighter who scored a finish without missing weight but fell outside the main bonus pool will receive $25,000.

Chairez, a 30-year-old flyweight from Mexico representing Entram Gym, improved to 13-6 with his Performance of the Night finish. Standing five-foot-seven with a 71-inch reach, "Puro Chicali" lands 3.65 significant strikes per minute and averages 1.3 submission attempts per 15 minutes, making him a threat on the feet and on the mat.
Allen and Shahbazyan put on a show worthy of Fight of the Night in the co-main event. Allen, ranked fifth in the middleweight division, carries a 26-7 record and fights out of Kill Cliff FC. The 30-year-old stands six-foot-two with a 75-inch reach, connects on 53 percent of his significant strikes, and mixes in consistent grappling with 1.56 takedowns and 1.1 submission attempts per 15 minutes.

Shahbazyan, 28 and also standing six-foot-two with a 75-inch reach out of Xtreme Couture, brought a 16-5 record into the bout. "The Golden Boy" produces 3.8 significant strikes per minute, the highest output among the bonus recipients, and adds 1.62 takedowns per 15 minutes to his game.

Why it matters
- Allen's Fight of the Night performance reinforces his standing as a top-five middleweight and could strengthen a case for a higher-ranked matchup.
- Shahbazyan's bonus showing signals a continued push back toward contention after earlier setbacks in his career.
- Chairez's Performance of the Night bonus highlights him as a finishing threat in a deep flyweight division.
