Quick read
Russian lightweight Nikita Kulshin (9-0 MMA), who served as a primary sparring partner for Justin Gaethje ahead of his bout with Ilia Topuria, has given an in-depth account of life inside the Gaethje-Wittman camp in Arvada, Colorado. Kulshan described Gaethje as a sharp mover who trains wrestling two to three hours per week and practiced high kicks during camp, while noting that Gaethje threw low kicks in sparring but without full force, possibly to protect an existing injury. Head coach Trevor Wittman personally designs and sews ONX fight gear and paid Kulshan more than the agreed amount for his work in camp.
