The UFC has awarded $100,000 performance bonuses following UFC Vegas 118. Edgar Chairez and Ivo Baranjevski each earned Performance of the Night honors, while Brendan Allen and Edmen Shahbazyan were awarded Fight of the Night for their contest. All fighters who earned finishes outside the main bonus recipients and who made weight received an additional $25,000.
The UFC handed out its post-fight bonus checks following UFC Vegas 118 on June 7, 2026, with four fighters collecting an extra $100,000 for their performances on the night.

Edgar Chairez and Ivo Baranjevski each took home Performance of the Night honors, while the middleweight clash between Brendan Allen and Edmen Shahbazyan was recognized as Fight of the Night. In addition, any fighter who earned a finish, made weight, and fell outside the main bonus pool received a $25,000 supplemental award.
Chairez, known as "Puro Chicali," is a 30-year-old flyweight from Mexico who fights out of Entram Gym. He carries a 13-6 record and brings active submission hunting to every outing, averaging 1.3 submission attempts per 15 minutes.

The Fight of the Night pairing featured two fighters who share nearly identical physical profiles and stylistic tendencies. Brendan Allen, the number-five-ranked middleweight out of Kill Cliff FC, is 30 years old and holds a 26-7 record. Standing six-foot-two with a 75-inch reach, "All In" lands 3.59 significant strikes per minute at 53 percent accuracy and also mixes in consistent grappling, averaging 1.56 takedowns per 15 minutes.
His opponent, Edmen Shahbazyan, is 28 years old and also stands six-foot-two with a 75-inch reach. "The Golden Boy" fights out of Xtreme Couture and owns a 16-5 record. Shahbazyan actually edges Allen in striking volume, landing 3.8 significant strikes per minute, though his accuracy sits at 48 percent.

Why it matters
- Allen is ranked fifth at middleweight, so a Fight of the Night performance keeps him visible in a crowded division
- Shahbazyan's striking output matched Allen's in a bout compelling enough to earn the night's top shared award
- Chairez's submission-oriented style produced a finish worthy of Performance recognition at 125 pounds
