Former Jackson-Wink general manager Mikhail Lyubimov shared a series of revelations about the storied gym and its fighters. He disclosed that Josh Hooker's main sparring partner is a welterweight grappler with a losing record, and that Greg Jackson will not be in Hooker's corner at the White House event due to Jackson's political opposition to the Republican administration. Lyubimov also said Jon Jones never remembered his sparring partners — including Jiri Prochazka — yet dominated all of them, and that Jones once demanded Roman Dolidze leave the gym after Dolidze repeatedly submitted Jones's black-belt BJJ coaches. The former GM attributed Jackson-Wink's fall from prominence to both Greg Jackson and Mike Winkeljohn burning out, with Winkeljohn increasingly focused on real estate and often absent from coaching duties.
