Manel Kape Stops Kyoji Horiguchi in Round 3 for Fourth Straight UFC KO

Manel Kape defeated Kyoji Horiguchi by knockout in the third round, extending his stoppage streak to four consecutive knockouts in the flyweight division and claiming the all-time UFC flyweight knockout record with five finishes by KO. Horiguchi had controlled much of the contest, rocking Kape multiple times and appearing to take the first two rounds, before a momentary lapse in the third allowed Kape to land a decisive counter. Kape switched from a southpaw stance to orthodox just before landing the finishing shot, and followed up with ground strikes to seal the stoppage.
