Murtazali Magomedov made an immediate impression on his UFC debut, submitting Melsik Bagdasaryan with a twister submission at the 1:17 mark of round one at UFC Vegas 119. It is only the fourth twister finish in UFC history. Magomedov, who trains out of Kyrgyzstan and carries a perfect 11-0 professional record with all wins by finish, called for active competition and urged fighters to help revive the featherweight division.
