Kape Stops Horiguchi in Third Round Despite Being Outworked Early

Manel Kape defeated Kyoji Horiguchi by knockout in the third round despite Horiguchi controlling much of the fight with sharp counters, effective left hooks, and takedowns. Horiguchi had won the first two rounds clearly, but made a critical mistake by lingering at close range after throwing his trademark combination, allowing Kape to land a decisive counter. Kape has now recorded four consecutive knockouts at flyweight and holds the all-time record for knockouts in the division with five.
