Capejos stops Horiguchi in Round 3, extends knockout streak to four

Manel Kape finished Kyoji Horiguchi with a right hand in the third round, scoring his fourth consecutive knockout and setting a flyweight UFC record with five knockouts in the division. Horiguchi had controlled the first two rounds, repeatedly stunning Kape with his speed and footwork, but was caught when he lingered in close range after landing a combination. Kape notably switched from a southpaw to an orthodox stance immediately before landing the fight-ending shot. The result leaves Horiguchi without a title shot he had appeared on track to earn, while Kape strengthens his case as a legitimate flyweight title contender.
