Nick Newell has reflected on his 2014 WSOF title fight loss to Justin Gaethje, describing Gaethje as virtually unstoppable once in motion. Newell said the only way to halt Gaethje is a full knockout, as fatigue does nothing to diminish his output, power, or forward pressure. Newell named Gaethje and Dricus Du Plessis as the only two fighters he has ever witnessed who remain completely unchanged in their aggression and output even when visibly exhausted.
