Magomedrasul Gasanov was removed from his scheduled bout against Abubakar Vagaev after the UFC flagged a substance found in his testing. According to Gasanov's sparring partner Ikram Aliskerov, Gasanov submitted records of all substances used over the prior six months and passed his test with clean results, but the UFC required him to retest over one particular compound that remains detectable in the bloodstream for an extended period. Aliskerov compared the situation to previous mildronate cases and said Gasanov's physical condition and performance level have not changed since leaving ACA.
