Nick Newell recalls what made Gaethje special: only two fighters never slow down — Gaethje and Du Plessis

Nick Newell, who faced Justin Gaethje in a 2014 WSOF title fight, has reflected on what sets Gaethje apart as a competitor. Newell said the only way to stop Gaethje is to knock him completely unconscious, noting that despite clearly hearing Gaethje breathing hard during their bout, his output, power, and forward pressure never diminished.
