Rafael Fiziev successfully hit the 156-pound mark at the official weigh-ins for UFC Baku, clearing the lightweight limit ahead of the card scheduled for June 27 on Paramount+.
Fiziev, known as "Ataman," enters the event ranked seventh in the lightweight division with a professional record of 14 wins and 5 losses. The 33-year-old Kazakhstani trains out of Tiger Muay Thai and fights out of a switch stance, standing five-foot-eight with a 71-inch reach. He is one of the more active strikers in the 155-pound weight class, landing 4.71 significant strikes per minute at a 52 percent accuracy rate, numbers that reflect the sharp, varied offense he has developed under the Tiger Muay Thai banner.
