Shara Bullet has revealed he contracted dengue fever during a training camp in Thailand ahead of his fight with Barrio, spending roughly two weeks bedridden with a 40-degree fever, skin sores, and hair loss. He returned to training only to collapse during a session and suffered a second wave of fever before flying to Abu Dhabi. Despite the ordeal, Bullet fought and won, though he then underwent surgery immediately after the bout and spent two more sleepless days unable to wind down from the physical and mental strain of competition.
