Shara Bullet has detailed how he contracted dengue fever during a training camp in Thailand ahead of his fight with Barrio, spending two weeks bedridden with a 40-degree temperature, skin sores, and hair loss. He flew to Abu Dhabi in a weakened state, competed, and won — only to spend the following two days without sleep before undergoing surgery. Bullet says he also experienced two weeks of breathing difficulties post-operation before fully recovering.
