Shara Bullet has revealed he contracted dengue fever during a training camp in Thailand ahead of his fight against Barrio, spending two weeks bedridden with a 40-degree fever, skin pustules, and hair loss. He flew to Abu Dhabi in a severely weakened state and still won the bout. After the fight, he was taken to surgery and went two days without sleep as his body remained in an intense state of alertness, leaving him unable to breathe properly for a further two weeks.
