Shara Bullet has revealed that he contracted dengue fever during a training camp in Thailand ahead of his fight with Barrio, spending roughly two weeks bedridden with a 40°C fever, skin sores, and hair loss. After briefly returning to the gym and relapsing, he traveled directly to Abu Dhabi and competed, ultimately winning the bout. He also disclosed that he went straight from the fight to the operating table, spending two days without sleep before and after surgery.
