Quick read
Edson Barboza has revealed that Kevin Lee was the most physically imposing opponent of his career, rating him above Khabib Nurmagomedov in terms of raw strength. Barboza said Lee simply picked him up and slammed him to the mat, whereas Khabib dominated more through technique and was always one step ahead on the ground. Reflecting on the Khabib loss, Barboza noted he entered with almost no preparation following major shoulder and bicep surgery, with only five weeks' notice for the fight. He also discussed his bout with Justin Gaethee, saying he lost because he failed to execute the game plan and walked into a punch he never saw coming.
