Edson Barboza says Kevin Lee was physically stronger than Khabib Nurmagomedov

Edson Barboza has revealed that Kevin Lee was the physically strongest opponent he ever faced, surpassing even Khabib Nurmagomedov in that regard. Barboza recalled Lee lifting him clean off the mat and slamming him down, and noted that when he attempted a spinning heel kick and Lee danced away, pure physical strength allowed Lee to defend the arm triangle. By contrast, Barboza said Khabib's dominance came from technique rather than raw power, always being one step ahead in grappling exchanges. Barboza also discussed his loss to Justin Gaethje, saying he failed to execute the game plan his team had drilled for two months.
