UFC 330 has added two new fights to its Makhachev vs. Garry card. Jalin Turner is among the fighters confirmed for the event, alongside the welterweight record holder.
Two new bouts have been added to the UFC 330 card headlined by Islam Makhachev defending his welterweight title against Ian Machado Garry on August 15. Among the fighters confirmed for the event is Jalin Turner, with Brazilian prospect Kaue Fernandes also joining the lineup.

Makhachev enters the main event as the reigning welterweight champion and the pound-for-pound number one fighter in the sport. The 34-year-old Russian, who trains with Eagles MMA, carries a 28-1 record into the contest. Fighting out of a southpaw stance, he lands 3.2 takedowns per 15 minutes and connects at a 58 percent striking accuracy rate, making him one of the most complete fighters in the division.
Turner, known as "The Tarantula," brings a high-output, aggressive style to whatever matchup the UFC has lined up for him. The 31-year-old American stands six-foot-three with a 77-inch reach and produces 5.53 significant strikes per minute, among the higher volume outputs in the lightweight ranks. He holds a 15-9 record and trains out of Adrenaline Combat Sports.

Fernandes, a 31-year-old Brazilian fighting out of the Nova Uniao camp, rounds out the new additions. He carries an 11-2 record and lands 4.28 significant strikes per minute at 55 percent accuracy. Standing five-foot-nine with a 73-inch reach, Fernandes fights from an orthodox stance and represents one of the sharper young prospects to emerge from his gym.

Why it matters
- Makhachev defending against Garry gives the card a compelling title-fight centerpiece with significant divisional stakes at 170 pounds
- Turner's high striking output sets up an entertaining stylistic contest for undercard fans
- Fernandes adds another unbeaten-adjacent prospect to a card that is quickly filling with competitive matchups across multiple weight classes
