Johnny Walker has disclosed his intentions to transition from light heavyweight to the heavyweight division. The Brazilian fighter explained that he has sparred with former heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou and felt comfortable despite being approximately 20 kilograms lighter while on a diet. Walker believes he would perform significantly better at heavyweight because the weight cut negatively impacts his training at 205 pounds. He described experiencing dizziness and low energy due to insufficient carbohydrate intake during his diet phases. Walker suggested that competing at his natural weight would allow him to train more effectively and bring better performances. The move would represent a significant shift in his UFC career trajectory.
