Light heavyweight Johnny Walker discussed his intention to compete at heavyweight in the future. Walker explained that he has trained and sparred with Francis Ngannou, and even with a 20-kilogram weight disadvantage while dieting, he felt comfortable working with the former heavyweight champion. He believes he would perform much better at heavyweight because cutting weight negatively impacts his training, causing dizziness and low energy due to carbohydrate restriction. Walker's comments suggest he feels physically limited by the demands of making light heavyweight. The move would allow him to train at a more natural body weight.
