Johnny Walker discussed his intentions to transition to the heavyweight division. Walker revealed he has trained and sparred with Francis Ngannou, noting that even with a 20kg weight difference while on a diet, he was able to work comfortably with the former heavyweight champion. The light heavyweight explained that cutting weight negatively impacts his training, causing dizziness and low energy due to reduced carbohydrate intake. Walker believes he would feel much better competing at heavyweight without the demands of a strict diet. His experience sparring with one of the sport's most powerful heavyweights appears to have given him confidence in the potential move up.
