Turner, known as "The Tarantula," enters the new contract at 31 years old carrying a professional record of 15 wins and 9 losses. The American lightweight, who trains out of Adrenaline Combat Sports, is a physically imposing presence in the division at six-foot-three with a 77-inch reach. Fighting out of a southpaw stance, Turner is one of the more dangerous finishers in the lightweight ranks — he lands an impressive 5.53 significant strikes per minute at 48 percent accuracy, and averages 1.1 submission attempts per 15 minutes, making him a threat both on the feet and on the mat.
