Anheliger, known as "The Monster," enters the fight at 13-8-0 and brings a home-crowd feel to the event as a Canadian competing in Edmonton. The 39-year-old trains out of Champion's Creed MMA and fights out of an orthodox stance. Standing five-foot-six with a 64-inch reach, he is one of the more active strikers in his division, landing 3.11 significant strikes per minute at a 46 percent accuracy rate. His grappling output is modest by comparison, averaging fewer than one takedown per 15 minutes.

Koslow, nicknamed "Obi Won Shinobi The Pillow," is the younger man at 29 and carries a 6-1-0 record into the matchup. The American trains with 10th Planet Jiu Jitsu Jacksonville and operates out of a switch stance. At five-foot-seven with a 69-inch reach, he holds a size advantage over his opponent. Koslow's game leans heavily on wrestling, averaging 5.28 takedowns per 15 minutes, though his striking output is lower at 0.77 significant strikes per minute with a 37 percent accuracy rate.

Why it matters

  • Anheliger's striking volume versus Koslow's takedown rate sets up a clear striker-versus-grappler dynamic
  • A win for the 29-year-old Koslow would build momentum as he looks to establish himself on the UFC roster
  • Anheliger, fighting at home in Canada, will be motivated to perform in front of a supportive crowd on October 17
