Hecher Sosa is reportedly set to meet Abdul Hussein at UFC Saudi Arabia on November 28 in Riyadh. The matchup has not been officially confirmed.
Sosa, a 31-year-old bantamweight with a 15-1 record, arrives as the former Way of Warrior FC champion. He won that belt with a 52-second knockout in June 2025, then earned a UFC contract on Dana White's Contender Series. He made his promotional debut in March, beating Luan Lacerda by unanimous decision. An orthodox fighter who stands five-foot-nine with a 70-inch reach, Sosa lands 4.53 significant strikes per minute at 47 percent accuracy. He also averages two takedowns and one submission attempt per 15 minutes.
Hussein, 29, is a Lebanese-born Finn with a 16-2 record. He is also one fight into his UFC career, which makes this a meeting between two bantamweights still establishing themselves in the promotion. Hussein fights orthodox and is listed at five-foot-seven with a 67-inch reach, giving up two inches of height and three inches of reach to Sosa.
Why it matters
- Both fighters are early in their UFC tenures, so the winner could build momentum in a crowded bantamweight division.
- Sosa has the physical edge in height and reach, while Hussein brings a slightly better win total at 16 victories.
- A second UFC win would help either man move beyond the prospect stage of his run.
The bout is expected to take place at UFC Saudi Arabia, with Riyadh serving as the host city on November 28.
