The UFC is heading back to Canada to open its 2027 numbered-event calendar. UFC 336 will take place at Scotiabank Arena in Toronto on January 30, 2027, making it the promotion's first numbered card of the new year.
The event marks the UFC's return to Toronto for the first time since UFC 297 in 2024. That card also took place in the city, and the promotion now brings a numbered show back to the same market after a gap of roughly three years.
No fight card has been revealed for UFC 336. The main event, co-main event and the rest of the lineup have yet to be announced, and no fighters have been attached to the show. Further details are expected to follow in the months ahead as the event date approaches.
Why it matters
- UFC 336 will be the first numbered event of 2027, giving it a prominent spot at the start of the calendar year.
- Toronto returns to the UFC schedule after a gap since UFC 297 in 2024, reaffirming the promotion's presence in Canada.
- Scotiabank Arena, a major downtown venue, hosts the card, signalling the scale the promotion is aiming for.
Numbered events traditionally carry the biggest fights on the schedule, often featuring title bouts and high-ranking contenders. With the date and venue now set, attention will turn to which divisions and which fighters headline the first major card of 2027.
