Chris Padilla misses weight by 900 grams at UFC 327

At the UFC 327 weigh-ins, 23 of 24 fighters successfully made weight. Chris Padilla was the lone exception, coming in 900 grams over his contracted limit. As a result, Padilla will be fined 20% of his purse, which will be paid to his opponent Markel Mederos. Despite the weight miss, the bout between Padilla and Mederos remains on the card and will proceed as scheduled.
