White also called Tsarukyan a 'tough bastard.' Meanwhile, Tsarukyan himself expressed doubt that a fight with Islam Makhachev will happen, suggesting Makhachev will retire after a couple more fights. Tsarukyan predicted he will capture the sport within a year and become the face of the UFC, saying people will think of UFC when they see him, and he just needs to secure the title. White also praised Tsarukyan but emphasized the need for more measured behavior going forward.
