Padilla misses weight by 900 grams at UFC 327, fined 20%

Twenty-three of 24 fighters successfully made weight for UFC 327, with Chris Padilla being the lone exception. Padilla came in 900 grams over the weight limit for his bout. As a result, he will be fined 20% of his purse, which will be paid to his opponent Markel Mederos. Despite the weight miss, the fight will proceed as scheduled. The weigh-in process for the card is otherwise complete without further issues.
