Chris Padilla misses weight by 900 grams at UFC 327, fined 20% of purse

Twenty-three of 24 fighters successfully made weight for UFC 327, with Chris Padilla being the only one to miss. Padilla came in 900 grams over the limit for his bout. As a result, he will be fined 20% of his fight purse, which will go to his opponent Markel Mederos. Despite the weight miss, the fight between Padilla and Mederos will proceed as scheduled. All other fighters on the card successfully completed the weigh-in process without issues.
