Chris Padilla failed to make weight for his UFC 327 bout, coming in 900 grams over the limit during the weigh-in ceremony. As a result, he will be fined 20% of his fight purse, which will be paid to his opponent Markel Mederos. Despite the weight miss, the fight between Padilla and Mederos will still proceed as scheduled. The remaining 23 of 24 fighters on the UFC 327 card successfully made weight without issues.
