Tsarukyan says Islam will retire soon, plans to become UFC face

Arman Tsarukyan stated he believes a fight with Islam Makhachev is unlikely because Makhachev will retire after a couple more bouts. The Armenian contender expressed confidence that he will take over the sport within a year and become the face of the UFC. Tsarukyan said people will think of UFC when they see him, once he captures the title. Dana White commented that he likes Tsarukyan's current activity level and that all he needs to do to get a title shot is avoid behaving like a maniac. The post also mentioned that Robert Whittaker denied rumors of a fight with Ankalaev, and that Paulo Costa stated he loves fighting Russians because they are tough like Brazilians.
