Additionally, ACA 206 in Moscow this August will feature title fights with A. Vakhaev vs. Aliakbari headlining and Shaikhayev vs. B. Tumenov as the co-main event.
ACA president Magomed Bibulatov announced at a press conference in St. Petersburg that Abdul-Aziz Abdulvakhabov has relinquished the organization's lightweight championship, triggering a title elevation for interim champion Daud Shaikhayev, who will now be recognized as the undisputed titleholder.
Bibulatov used the event to map out an ambitious summer schedule for the promotion. ACA 204, set for Omsk this July, will be headlined by Shlemenenko versus Emeev, with Shurkevich taking on Dudaev in the co-main event. Looking further ahead, ACA 206 in Moscow this August will carry two title bouts, with Shaikhayev defending his newly elevated undisputed lightweight belt against B. Tumenov in the co-main, and A. Vakhaev versus Amir Aliakbari topping the card.

Aliakbari is among the few confirmed fighters in the ACA 206 lineup with verified data on record. The Iranian heavyweight carries a 10-1-0 professional mark and competes out of AKA Thailand. At 42 years old and standing six-foot-three, or 191 centimeters, Aliakbari brings considerable size and experience into his matchup with Vakhaev.
Why it matters
- Abdulvakhabov's vacancy clears the path for Shaikhayev to consolidate the ACA lightweight title without a unification bout.
- Shaikhayev's scheduled defense against B. Tumenov at ACA 206 will be his first assignment as undisputed champion.
- The Vakhaev versus Aliakbari main event adds an international dimension to ACA 206, with the Iranian veteran's lone professional loss keeping his record and title credentials in sharp focus.
