Carlos Ulberg captured the UFC light heavyweight championship by knocking out Jiri Prochazka at 3:45 of the first round in the UFC 327 main event. In other main card action, Paulo Costa knocked out Azamat Murzakanov in the third round, Josh Hockit defeated Curtis Blaydes by unanimous decision in a fight-of-the-night performance, Dominick Reyes edged Johnny Walker by split decision, and Cub Swanson TKO'd Nate Landwehr in the first round. Performance bonuses went to Ulberg and Hockit, while the fight bonus was awarded to Hockit vs Blaydes. On the prelims, Mateusz Gamrot submitted Esteban Ribovics, Tatiana Suarez submitted Lupita Godinez, and Kevin Holland defeated Randy Brown by decision. Aaron Pico defeated Patricio Pitbull by unanimous decision in a featured prelim bout.
