An analyst declared Khadis Ibragimov the best Russian fighter at reviving his career post-UFC based on the ratio of UFC performance to post-UFC success. Ibragimov left UFC in 2020 with a 0-4 record over 13 months at age 24. Since then, he has compiled approximately 13-3-3 across 19 fights under various rule sets and reportedly increased his earnings four to five times compared to his UFC pay, now earning 5-6 million rubles per fight. The analyst contrasted this with other Russian UFC departures who struggled afterward. Ibragimov will make his ACA debut on April 12 against undefeated heavyweight Daniil Matsola (7-0), who is 12 kg lighter. The same card features Tony Johnson, who previously defeated Derrick Lewis, Tim Sylvia, and Alexander Volkov, facing Kirill Kornilov.
