Gadjiev and teammates attacked Vartanyan before fight, no expulsion from league

Zaur Gadjiev and his teammates allegedly struck Eduard Vartanyan on the back of the head before Vartanyan's fight. Despite this incident, Gadjiev will not be expelled from the league. Magomed Bibulatov stated that he had a stern conversation with Gadjiev about the matter. The assault occurred in the backstage area prior to Vartanyan's bout with Uzair. This represents a serious breach of pre-fight protocol that apparently will result in internal discipline rather than removal from the organization.
