Daniel Rodriguez has revealed he was arrested at the Mexican border and spent eight months in prison, only being released last week. Rodriguez thought he would spend just a weekend in custody, but Mexican laws worked differently than he expected. Kevin Holland posted bail for Rodriguez last week to secure his release. According to Holland, he paid the bail because he wants to get a rematch against Rodriguez. The welterweight fighter is now free and presumably looking to return to competition.
